Usually we experience power failures due to windy & rainy conditions. As a result the water pumps stop working. This causes the reservoir to dry up. Kestrel gave me the right wind turbine & the correct pump to deliver the right amount of water. Since the installation, I am happy when the wind blows. The reservoir is always full of water. Approximately 30 000 liters is withdrawn daily and the hygiene of the milk stalls has improved due to cleaner water supply.
