We are excited about the recent installation in eastern Iceland, in collaboration with Samrás, to tackle extreme weather conditions. Located on a 650-meter mountain, the site experienced wind speeds of up to 65 meters per second (234 km/h) last year.
The Kestrel wind turbines demonstrated exceptional resilience against these harsh elements, showcasing the reliability of our technology.
Since partnering with Samrás in 2012, we have supplied approximately 65 Kestrel wind turbines for installation in Iceland, a notable achievement considering the country's population of 380,000.
Samrás maintains a stock of both Kestrel wind turbines and all spare parts for Kestrel products. They also offer customers a complete repair and maintenance service for all Kestrel equipment, which is one of many keys to the success in marketing Kestrel in Iceland.
