The installation is on a 30hectare hilly property on the edge of the Barossa Valley wine-growing district. There is no mains power within 2 kilometres of our property, being in a hilly, wooded location, connection to mains power would now be in excess of $200,000.
The property was purchased as farmland broken up into sections in 1992.Beginning with just a diesel Kubota 10 KW generator, solar and wind power sources have been installed as capital has been invested to the present day as a stand alone system with Kestrel Turbine E300i which completely eliminated the use of the Kubota Diesel Generator.
