The system comprised of 16 x 250 watt solar panels and a 5 kW Grid Tie inventor. The solar panels generate around 24000 watt/hours per day that is feedback on the grid. The power is either used by the customer or returned to grid. The energy that is returned to grid caused the electricity meter to reverse and build up credit - that is used at night or in high demand periods.
