The school has got a 10 kW.h per day hybrid, grid assist system installed. This system is made up of a Kestrel e300 48 Vdc Turbine, 6 x 250 watt Solar panels that are connected to a 260 A.h battery bank via 2 Charge Controllers. This battery bank is then connected to a Victron 3kW inverter that is then supply electricity to the computer class. This has help the teachers to be able to process exam result even if there is load shedding and the schools computer classes is not effected either.
