A Kestrel e400nb 3.5kW wind turbine connected to the national grid via a Power One 3.6kW wind inverter.
The area has an average wind speed of 6.5 m/s and the system will generate around 7250 kWh per annum. Power generated by this system will cover most of the property’s energy use. (4 Bedroom house, garage and a small workshop) This grid connected installation is eligible for the Irish Feed-in Tariffs.
