Our Kestrel water pumping solution stands out as an essential tool for farmers, particularly in South Africa. Capable of delivering up to 3,600 litres of water per hour, this system is designed for efficiency in areas where grid electricity is either unavailable or unreliable. With operation commencing at wind speeds as low as 3 m/s, the Kestrel water pumping system utilises wind energy or a combination of wind and solar power to significantly outperform traditional mechanical windmills, delivering up to twice the water volume.
Unlike conventional windmills that must be positioned directly above water sources, our innovative design allows for optimal placement to maximise wind resource utilisation. Each Kestrel water pump system consists of key components, including a turbine, a standalone tower, a pump interface, and a selected pump. Additionally, our Windmill Adaptor enables compatibility with existing four-leg windmill towers, providing customers with a cost-effective upgrade.
Kestrel's grid-connected solution is designed to supplement existing electrical grids, helping customers save on energy costs.
