KESTREL NOW SWCC CERTIFIED Date: 15 February 2013 Kestrel Renewable Energy’s e400nb 3.5kW 250V wind turbine obtained certification from the Small Wind Turbine Certification Council (SWCC). The SWCC is an independent certification body created to serve the North American market. SWCC certifies small wind turbines that meet or exceed the performance and durability requirement standards set by the AWEA.

Stateside student to power up Addo school Date: 7 September 2012 Local business, Kestrel Renewable Energy (Kestrel), has an international visitor. Fifth former, Joe Yates from the USA is spending three weeks installing a wind turbine at Vusumzi School, as well as assisting in renovations andteach pupils at the Addo township school.
