Gelvandale High School Region: South Africa, Eastern Cape The school has got a 10 kW.h per day hybrid, grid assist system installed. This system is made up of a Kestrel e300 48 Vdc Turbine, 6 x 250 watt Solar panels that are connected to a 260 A.h battery bank via 2 Charge Controllers.

Jansenville Farm
Jansenville Farm Region: South Africa, Eastern Cape An off grid, hybrid system that delivers 7.5kWh per day. The system consists of 6 x 240W solar panels and a Kestrel e230i (800W) wind turbine with 4 x 260Ah batteries. The power generated is used to power the farm house. Previously no electricity was available on the farm and the farmer used a generator.
Animal Flower Cave – Barbados
Animal Flower Cave – Barbados Region: Christ Church, Barbados A grid tie system consisting of a Kestrel e400i (3kW) wind turbine, 18m ARE taper fit monopole and a SMA WB3800 inverter with a transformer installed at the Animal Flower Cave in Barbados. On the first day, the turbine put out 32.4kWh.
