Tolikane JSS - Near Libode Region: South Africa, Eastern Cape The system that is installed at Tolikane JSS is a bulk rainwater collection system. It works by gathering rainwater off the school building’s roof by means of a gutter system and then from there the water flows into Jojo tanks.
Zoko JSS - Near Mount Ayliff

Mfoxo Farming & Projects

University of Namibia
University of Namibia Region: Namibia Benguela Community in Luderitz, Namibia - The University of Namibia is on a pirate project to see if generating electricity using alternative energy will take the strain off the existing tower grid. As a result, Kestrel was asked to supply, deliver and install 3 off-grid systems to power the small community and workshop of Benguela in Luderitz, Namibia.
Niell Knott, Van Stadens, Port Elizabeth
Niell Knott, Van Stadens, Port Elizabeth Region: South Africa, Eastern Cape The Nelson Mandela Municipality was the first to allow “reverse metering” in the billing of electricity. The reverse metering system allows the owners to feed their own energy into the grid and use it to the maximum of their own disposal.
Ludumo, East London
Ludumo, East London Region: South Africa, Eastern Cape The water pumping system was installed to provide running water for the village just outside East London on the way to Butterworth. Previously water has been provided by means of a single water point that is supply from a tank, filled when needed.
